John Loyd (CESCL, PMP) is the Principal of BEA Environmental. Over his career he has provided consulting services related to Municipal Stormwater Permit compliance to over 30 cities on a wide range of subjects, technical assistance, business inspections, public outreach and education to hundreds of businesses across Puget Sound, and managed energy and water conservation projects serving thousands of residential customers. Additionally, he has over eight years of Industrial and Construction Stormwater Permit management experience  From construction, to industrial, to retail, John is capable of understanding and overcoming the challenges to pollution prevention and conservation, and developing solutions.

Joycelyn Chui is a Senior Associate at BEA Environmental. She aims to bridge environmental knowledge and cultural gaps to assist local small businesses, residents, and municipal clients through an environmental justice lens. Prior to joining BEA, Joycelyn worked at ECOSS to deliver outreach and technical assistance on topics such as stormwater pollution prevention, green stormwater infrastructure, solid and hazardous waste. Joycelyn is trilingual in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin

Larry Cushnie is a Senior Associate at BEA Environmental, and an educator, grant writer, and researcher with over 15 years of experience in higher education. He has taught in universities and colleges across the greater Seattle area developing courses considering environmental politics, philosophy, labor, and social movements. Larry earned his PhD from the University of Washington with a research focus on historical and contemporary environmental and social movements in the United States.

Ramiro Magallanes is an Outreach Coordinator with BEA Environmental. He brings eight years of business outreach experience regarding stormwater pollution prevention, energy conservation, and recycling. He specializes in working with mobile vendors on stormwater related issues such as spill prevention and response training, FOG storage, pesticide and herbicide application. He educates these vendors about the state-wide water quality regulations that pertain to their work, to bring a uniform approach to these business practices, regardless of where the work is being done. Ramiro is bilingual in Spanish and English.
